How To Proceed

To best assist you with your case, please have a copy of your ticket and/or any other documents you have received from the Portland Town Court regarding your speeding ticket or other case. If you plan to hire our office, please send us a copy by email or fax. We will also need a recent copy of your Driving History which you can obtain from your local Motor Vehicle Department. Some auto insurance companies will also provide their policy holders with a free copy as a courtesy. If you have a New York state driver's license, our office can obtain a copy for your for a $10.00 charge. We will need your nine digit Client ID (license number). After discussing your case with the attorney or staff member, we will send you a Waiver document which you must sign and have witnessed by a Notary Public or equivalent. A copy of that signed document must also be sent to our office. Payment must be made in full at the beginning of your case. We accept all major forms of payment including cash, check, money order or other certified funds, credit/debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover, and online through Paypal. Once we receive your payment and copy of your ticket/other court documents, we can proceed in most cases, giving you extra time to obtain your Driving History and notarize the Waiver form.
